Another stately addition to the already doorstop thick catalogue of live albums recorded at New York club the Village Vanguard.
If you are looking for an elegant piano trio built in the classic post-Second World War modern jazz mould, then look no further. Once again pianist Bill Charlap is with bassist Peter Washington and drummer Kenny Washington.
Material they tackle include the title track, a Kenny Barron piece first released in the 1990s on the great pianist's Invitation and covered since by Vincent Herring, Billy Cobham, James Moody and most recently Greg Abate.
Around since the 1990s the trio know each other's moves. And you never get the feeling that they aren't anywhere but at the right place, exactly the right time, playing the material that is just right for them.
The insouciance you gain - almost a decade on from the Silver Lining release - from the treatment of a classic like 1920s song 'Sometimes I'm Happy' with its lightness of touch, easy syncopated flair and more is textbook.
If you are new to their work we'd pick out a gem of an album they recorded with Tony Bennett The Silver Lining: The Songs of Jerome Kern released in 2015
And Then Again also includes a new version of '(I Don’t Stand) A Ghost Of A Chance (With You)' also streaming in addition to the title track. Full album release date is 16 August.
