Once again Alison Moyet is in the marlbank daily 10. No one would call Moyet a jazz singer. But she definitely fits right in again on this beautiful new version of 'Filigree'. And the bass line by Ben Nicholls on this pristine new version of her song co-written with Guy Sigsworth, which was interpreted initially on 2013's The Minutes, is completely jazz simpatico in the context of our list below in addition. Ah and the lyrics are so sublime:
