The vibist on the track Joel Ross whose delicious Blue Note album The Parable of the Poet was released in the spring plays a significant role while the great reedist Tim Garland (Lammas, Earthworks, Acoustic Triangle, Chick Corea) is also contrapuntally in the mix so piquant. The Mehldauian, ex-Chick, the very influential Jeff Ballard is on drums and Metheny Unity Group ace Ben Williams rules the roost on bass. In a word - superb.
