Track of the day: There's a surprise twist in this lead-off track from Binker Golding and his quintet drawn from Dream Like a Dogwood Wild Boy out next month on Gearbox in the bottleneck guitar Americana feel injected by guitarist Billy Adamson in the early part of the piece which eventually becomes a swaggering anthemic feature for Golding backed by Adamson, pianist Sarah Tandy, bassist Daniel Casimir and drummer Sam Jones. A world away from Binker and Moses whose Feeding the Machine was released recently there's nonetheless the signature Golding sound full of energy and passion in good measure and it's a refreshing new direction.
