It's more than two decades since singer Jane Monheit debuted and then quickly became one of the greatest classic jazz voices on the scene. Monheit hasn't, however, released a record in quite a while. That is set to change following her signing to Club44 Records. Come What May is released on 12 March. These are its tracks:
I Believe in You (Frank Loesser)
When a Woman Loves a Man (Gordon Jenkins/Johnny Mercer/Bernie Hanighen)
Let's Take a Walk Around the Block (Harold Arlen/Ira Gershwin/E. Y. Harburg)
Lush Life (Billy Strayhorn)
Let's Face the Music and Dance (Irving Berlin)
Samba Do Avião (Antônio Carlos Jobim)
The Nearness of You (Hoagy Carmichael/Ned Washington)
On the Sunny Side of the Street (Jimmy McHugh/Dorothy Fields)/Get Happy (Harold Arlen/Ted Koehler)
The Man That Got Away (Harold Arlen/Ira Gershwin)
My Funny Valentine (Richard Rodgers/Lorenz Hart)
