A February release has been announced for Every Note Is True the debut on Blue Note records of pianist and composer Ethan Iverson. This is a trio record with double bassist Larry Grenadier (famed for his work with Brad Mehldau) and drummer Jack DeJohnette who was superlative on this year's release with Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Ron Carter on Skyline and who made jazz history with both Miles Davis and Keith Jarrett.

Ahead of release 'The More It Changes' and 'The Eternal Verities' are streaming. Most of the tracks on the album are by Iverson plus 'Blue' by DeJohnette. Ethan's wife writer Sarah Deming wrote the text for the virtual choir track 'The More It Changes.' Ethan Iverson photo: Keith Major
