March 21 will see a new studio album from saxophonist Gary Bartz, the Jazz is Dead label has announced. Tracks are streaming from Gary Bartz JID006 introducing the prospect. Bartz is hot again at the moment. For example, the alto sax inspiration for such seminal UK bands in the past as Gary Crosby's Nu Troop, scored marlbank's best and top single instrumental track of 2020, grooving on the head bobbing 'Harlem to Haarlem' collaborating with Maisha and certainly a revelation this year.
