Brazilian veteran the extraordinary Hermeto Pascoal and Afrobeat legends Seun Kuti & Fela's Egypt 80 are also in the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival line-up this autumn with many more names and the full programme still to be unwrapped.
Local media in Cork are reporting the line-up following a launch last night with tickets to go on sale on Friday.
Also to appear in the limited details so far are Prince's band New Power Generation and Jazzanova.
