On their way to the Leyburn jazz festival in Wensleydale next month are quite a triumvirate of leading jazz acts with the great Ian Shaw leading the charge oop north to Leyburn joined by Paul Edis and saxist Josephine Davies with her spiritual-jazz band Satori. The very fine Edis solo piano album The Still Point of The Turning World is out tomorrow on the Lateralize label.
