New discovery listen: Try saxophonist Vincent Lê Quang's Everlasting. Lê Quang who is a teacher at the Paris Conservatoire is also known for his work with Swiss jazz icon drummer Daniel Humair on such records as Modern Art. Everlasting issued by La Buissonne finds Lê Quang with pianist Bruno Ruder, double bassist Guido Zorn and drummer Joe Quitzke.
La Buissonne, the house label of one of Europe's most revered recording studios used for jazz, is rapidly establishing itself especially for chamber jazz styles even if the frequency of its release programme is limited so far.
