Drawn from Vintage out in a couple of weeks on Sunnyside, there's some fine tenor saxophone and piano rapport here from Jerome Sabbagh and Kenny Barron on their spirited version of Thelonious Monk's 'We See'. Vintage also includes 'Ask Me Now' as the second of two selections from the Monk songbook, these duets suggested by drummer Johnathan Blake who is elsewhere on the record alongside bassist Joe Martin.
