The Swiss Vein trio appearing with saxophonist Domenic Landolf and Scotland's Fergus McCreadie trio are in this month's Limerick Jazz Festival. As too is Irish mainstreamer the jazz and blues guitar colossus Nigel Mooney. Also in the spirit of Éirinn go Brách the Conor Guilfoyle octet are also heading Shannonside. Singer Georgia Cécile (top) who releases Only the Lover Sings just ahead of Limerick, an album that marks the Scottish artist's debut, appears with McCreadie as part of a Scottish double bill at the Belltable on the 24th. On the initial single 'He Knew How To Love' Cécile, think the timbre of Jessie Ware a little, is considered and poised. Limerick dates are 20-26 September. Here's the full line-up
