With a big run of dates coming up in early-2022 – including appearances at Ronnie Scott's (24-27 February), Perth, Kilmarnock, East Sussex, Carmarthen, Cheltenham, Porthcawl, Milton Keynes, the Wirral, Lancaster, Bradford and Blackburn in March – singer/saxophonist Curtis Stigers, a pop star back in the 1990s and committed jazz circuit performer since, reworks his back catalogue and sprinkles in Emmylou Harris, George Gershwin, Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen numbers among the selections on This Life which is to be released by Emarcy on 25 February. A new version of the ballad 'Keep Me From The Cold' streams ahead of release. With the 56-year-old crooner on the self-produced album are trumpeter John “Scrapper” Sneider, pianist Matthew Fries, organist Larry Goldings, bassist Cliff Schmitt and drummers Keith Hall and Paul Wells.
