The awards show is on 9 September at Eventim Apollo. Last year's jazz act to make the list was Moses Boyd. The shortlist of 12 ‘Albums of the Year’ is chosen by an independent judging panel, including jazz celebrity Jamie Cullum. Albums by UK and Irish artists with a UK release date between 18 July 2020 and 16 July 2021 are eligible for the 2021 Prize.
