Trumpet and keyboards-soaked mid-tempo moodiness voilà leading to a flute solo time surely to reacquaint us all once again with Ruby Rushton who have an EP Gideon's Way new on digital in June. A studio affair recorded in late-2020 trumpeter Nick Walters, best known for his work with Manc mavericks Beats & Pieces, is sounding mature and especially reflective against a sunny instrumental swirl as the piece develops. It's Aidan Shepherd on keys and Tim Carnegie at the kit with Tenderlonious on flute. Other tracks are ‘Spanish Raga,’ ‘Fall From Grace’ and 'The Good Mixer.'
