On the east London jazz scene in Dalston activity during Tier 2 is currently very limited. On Bradbury Street, pictured, close to the heart of the scene, Servant Jazz Quarters is still to resume its live programme. Cafe Oto nearby on Ashwin Street is also still to begin again.
The remarkable Vortex on the corner of Bailey Place and Gillett Square, however, against all odds, is open on Friday and Saturday nights and keeps the scene alive.
