An accordion, guitar, drums instrumentation isn't necessarily one that leaps to mind for a jazz group. Actually at times what we have here belongs to no genre although jazz listeners certainly can get what Vincent Peirani, Federico Casagrande and Ziv Ravitz are doing: Just hear for example when Casagrande stretches out to solo on 'Heimdall'. Featuring gutsy reworkings of Marilyn Manson and Trent Reznor material plus Peirani originals in the mix this is all fresh and invigorating, Peirani once again displaying how much bottle he has ripping up the rulebook in radically altering how the accordion is supposed to sound.
