A must from Tyshawn Sorey. There is such a depth in the dialogue here, piano and vibes intially and then cascading ever outwards. This is quite a group, some very beautiful soloing from Nathan Reising on alto saxophone among the stand out features… Wonderful, from start to finish, there is such an elegance to the shape of the improvising lines and a lapping organic sense that is like a tide as players make their entrances and take their leave. A major work by Sorey. Reserve quality listening time today.
