During the recent London Jazz Festival marlbank managed to catch the support for Keyon Harrold playing Ronnie Scott's who was singer Cherise who excelled best of all on her Anita Baker cover drawn from Rapture, her reframing of 'Skylark' and played flute as well as even whistling. Cherise (Adams-Burnett) also sang several originals and her EP Paradise featuring some of these will be released at the end of January. She won vocalist of the year at the Jazz FM Awards and is a graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Cherise plays Kings Place, London on 7 February.

Recorded in May of this year issuing label Edition notes that it is ''entirely improvised.''

There are six tracks each varying in length from 2-and-a-half minutes the briefest, to the longest running to 9-and-a-half minutes.

Titles are: 'As Above,' the dazzling 'Time And Everything' that unfolds eventually into Jarrettonia and that you can listen to before release, 'Coda,' 'For J.S.,' 'Broken Windows,' and 'So Below.'

Galvin plays solo at Kings Place in London on 21 February.
