Hard on the heels of his Monk and Coltrane album last year, His’n’Hers will be saxophonist Dave O'Higgins' next record, this time involving his wife Judith O'Higgins also a saxophonist who puts her day job as a forensic pathologist to one side to make this record with Dave, drawing on a Johnny Griffin and Eddie Lockjaw Davis type ''tough tenors'' sound.

To be released by the Ubuntu label on 4 September. Photo of Judith and Dave O'Higgins: Imageplotter.
