You will hear Mark Guiliana on the new Brad Mehldau album Jacob's Ladder and this autumn you will hear him again with his own album to be released on Edition Records following the top US drummer's signing to the label. What's in store will involve pianist Shai Maestro, saxophonist Jason Rigby and bassist Chris Morrissey. Edition's Dave Stapleton says: ''In 2010, we had an opportunity to work with Mark on Phronesis’ Alive album but it was his work with Brad Mehldau that, for me, took it to the next level. By this time Edition was about six years old and in some way internally, set a long term ambition in my subconscious to work with him more closely on his own projects. Mark is an intuitive, compelling and modern artist who likes to surround himself with the best, most creative musicians. He will be a name that will continue to be relevant and go down as one of the greats of the music.”
