Here's the lead off track 'Not Right Now' new from bass guitarist Derrick Hodge, drawn from Color of Noize to be released at the end of June. Hodge put together a new band for the album to be released by Blue Note, and which was co-produced by Don Was, with in addition to Hodge on bass and providing additional keys, guitar and voice, Jahari Stampley and Michael Aaberg on keys, Mike Mitchell and Justin Tyson on drums, and DJ Jahi Sundance on turntables. The album includes mainly Hodge originals plus a cover of Wayne Shorter's 'Fall,' a composition that appeared on Miles Davis 1968 album Nefertiti.
