Interesting signing here from US jazz indie Greenleaf run by trumpeter Dave Douglas with news that UK saxist Trish Clowes' next record is coming out on the label. The title track of Clowes' A View with a Room is streaming ahead of the album's April release. In recent years with her band My Iris (Ross Stanley piano/Hammond organ, Chris Montague guitar and James Maddren, drums) Clowes has built a strong reputation crisscrossing jazz and contemporary music styles building up an acclaimed discography on the Basho label before this switch to Greenleaf which will introduce Clowes to many in the US for the first time.
