Mancunian jazztronica piano trio GoGo Penguin however do say that their new Blue Note album will be released on 1 May.
They have a hefty amount of touring coming up with UK and US dates in the schedule with a release day gig in Dublin at Vicar Street. The previous night in Belfast is already sold out.

Reliably entertaining tradster rhythm guitarist-vocalist Marty Grosz is 90 today. His autobiography is published next month. Prepare for a few ripping yarns.
Son of German expressionist George Grosz, Marty was born in Berlin in 1930 and moved to the United States aged three. In a stellar and very long career Marty performed with Joe Pass, Herb Ellis, Charlie Byrd, Ruby Braff, Dick Hyman, Milt 'The Judge' Hinton and many more. He plays a Gibson L-5 archtop guitar and has a neat way with a between-song monologue. Grosz used to regularly play the London clubs in Peter Boizot's day.
