One of marlbank's favourite jazz singers Kandace Springs introduces her upcoming new album with a very poignant ballad in memory of her late father Scat. The title track of Run Your Race (SRP Records) out in April is streaming above and there's a new video too which shows photos of Scat along with Kandace performing 'Run Your Race' in a studio, accompanying herself on piano, and at a local Nashville track where she used to run with her dad when she was a child.
