Here's the dazzling 'Morning Bell' from the upcoming Everything All of The Time: Kid A Revisited (Whirlwind) by pianist Rick Simpson, a celebration, says Simpson ''of 20 years since Radiohead released their masterpiece Kid A and a jazz reimagining of the music.''

To be released in October, joining Simpson are Tori Freestone on tenor saxophone; James Allsopp, baritone saxophone; Dave Whitford, double bass; and Will Glaser, drums.

Two tracks from the album are streaming at the moment. Seventeen is a significant number regards Art Blakey given that Blakey's first working band in the 1940s was an outfit called the Seventeen Messengers. The album includes new tunes and among the personnel are Joanne Brackeen, Kevin Eubanks, Robin Eubanks, Craig Handy and Jean Toussaint. To be released on Peterson's own Onyx label.
