Here's 'Pure Imagination' featured on From This Moment On (Ubuntu) from the Rob Barron trio to be released this autumn. The album includes compositions by pianist Barron along with Great American Songbook standards including the title track Cole Porter evergreen. Barron on the album is with Jeremy Brown on bass and Josh Morrison on drums. The pianist studied at the Leeds College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and in his career to date he has performed with Phil Woods, Grant Stewart, Patti Austin, Al Jarreau, Marlena Shaw, John Marshall and Dave O’Higgins among many others appearing on more than 30 albums. Look for the release on 2 October.
