Shalosh have Broken Balance out at the end of October.

All the tracks are originals of the Israeli piano trio's apart from an anarchic cover of the rousing Kurt Cobain Nirvana song 'Breed' (from Nevermind) streaming ahead of release.

A studio affair, the album was recorded at Nilento, Gothenburg in February. Last year's Onwards and Upwards also issued by ACT, was a big highlight of the year. As noted at the time and underlined once again the trio who are: on piano Gadi Stern; playing double bass David Michaeli; and at the drum kit Matan Assayag; all providing a sense of drama, heat and palpable engagement.
