If you like some of the early work of Darcy James Argue's Secret Society (say like 'Zeno' on 2009's Infernal Machines) then you will probably find a good deal to appreciate here from composer, soprano saxophonist and bass clarinettist Jeremy Rose, drummer Chloe Kim and the Earshift Orchestra from Australia. Orchestra membership includes brothers trumpeter Tom and saxophonist Michael Avgenicos. 'The Illusion of Perfection' and 'Unverified Persona' are the best tracks. The two part 'Vera Discordia' suite is at the beginning, the second part is preferable with a splash of keyboard first off and then a squall of brass interjecting. It's a powerful showing.
