Tributes are pouring in online to pianist Jessica Williams who has died aged 73. Influenced by Miles Davis and John Coltrane Williams played with Philly Joe Jones in the 1970s and in the bands of Eddie Harris, Tony Williams and Stan Getz among others. But she was best known for her own recordings including in recent years for the Origin label. Online Origin paid tribute on social media writing: ''How fortunate we were to work with Jessica Williams over the last 16 years.
