Drummer Steve Jordan, known for his work with Keith Richards and John Mayer, will be replacing Charlie Watts for the Rolling Stones tour in the US this autumn it's looking likely because Watts, 80, has had to withdraw for health reasons. Watts said in a statement: “For once my timing has been a little off. I am working hard to get fully fit but I have today accepted on the advice of the experts that this will take a while[…] I have therefore asked my great friend Steve Jordan to stand in for me.” Check out Jordan's playing with Patti Austin, Bunky Green, Don Pullen and more recently with John Scofield.
