Life Stories by Mary Coughlan recently released is an album for the ages. The Galway-born singer's sense of reality suits the present time more than most. One of Ireland's greatest singers, Coughlan plays PowerHaus (formerly Dingwalls) in Camden, London, on 21 and 22 November.
